Curvature study of the original patch layout. None of the surface interfaces are more than G1 continuous; you can easily see the numerous resultant discontinuities in the reflections on the original surface.
In addition to the lugs shown here, which were both the most conspicuous and complex curved surfaces of the design, I raised every fillet and surface interface on the model to at least G2 continuity. I also designed a buckle and finished the strap design.
Redesigned minute, hour, and weekday hands, and hour markers
