Hi, I’m Aven, welcome to my site! I’m a mechanical engineer with a passion for design and creativity that benefit people and the world beyond us. For as long as I can remember there’s been nothing more exciting to me than applying imagination and ingenuity to create tools and machines that solve our most pressing problems — in other words, bringing ideas into reality in the most literal sense possible. I’m most experienced in the realms of computer-aided-design and mechanical engineering, along with some industrial design, but I have programming experience writing firmware and videogames as well, and I also love art and photography, which often make their way into my work in more subtle ways. I’m most captivated by interdisciplinary knowledge and projects, and I love working with people whose expertise differs significantly from my own — I find these are the situations wherein we learn and expand our horizons most effectively.
